Edjo AI works through your question by hand, step by step, so you can solve the next one yourself.
Coming soon to the App Store and Google Play.
- Maths: Solve 3x + 2 = 14: 3x = 12, so x = 4. Solve x² − 5x + 6 = 0: (x − 2)(x − 3) = 0, so x = 2 or x = 3. Find the turning points of y = x³ − 3x: dy/dx = 3x² − 3 = 0, so x = ±1, giving (1, −2) and (−1, 2).
- Physics: A cyclist rides 120 m in 6 s: speed = distance ÷ time = 20 m/s. A car starts from rest and speeds up at 2 m/s² for 5 s: v = u + at = 10 m/s, and s = ut + ½at² = 25 m. A ball thrown sideways at 15 m/s off a 20 m cliff falls for 2 s (20 = ½ × 10 × t²), so it lands 30 m out.
- Chemistry: One H₂O molecule has 2 hydrogen atoms and 1 oxygen atom: 3 atoms. Balance H₂ + O₂ → H₂O: put 2 before H₂O, then 2 before H₂, giving 2H₂ + O₂ → 2H₂O. 4 g of hydrogen is 2 mol of H₂, which makes 2 mol of water: 2 × 18 = 36 g.
- Biology: A plant cell has a cell wall, membrane, nucleus, chloroplasts and a vacuole. Photosynthesis uses carbon dioxide, water and light to make glucose and oxygen: 6CO₂ + 6H₂O → C₆H₁₂O₆ + 6O₂. Blood through the heart: body → right atrium → right ventricle → lungs → left atrium → left ventricle → body.
- Statistics: The mean of 4, 7, 9 and 12 is their sum, 32, divided by 4, which is 8. 8, 3, 12, 5, 7 in order is 3, 5, 7, 8, 12: the median is 7 and the range is 12 − 3 = 9. Two dice: 36 outcomes, 6 of them total 7, so the chance is 6/36 = 1/6.
- English: She don't like apples becomes She doesn't like apples: he, she and it take does. its cold lets go becomes It's cold, let's go: it's means it is, and let's means let us. The wind whispered through the trees is personification: the wind does something only a person can.
What changes
A staircase rising from stuck, to get it, to solve it alone.
Get unstuck tonight, not at next week's class
See every step, not just the answer
Ask why, as many times as you need
Spend less time stuck, and more time living
Walk into your exam knowing how, not hoping
Falling behind is rarely about talent.
One teacher. Thirty students. One speed. Miss a step on Monday, and by Friday the whole topic feels impossible.
A graph from Monday to Friday: the class keeps rising while a student who missed a step falls behind, and the gap grows.
More tuition isn't always the fix
A week of seven boxes: one hour of class on one day, and a question stuck tonight on another.
Travel, fixed times and fees every month
One hour a week, for a question that's stuck tonight
Paying again next week for the same topic
Answer apps can make it worse
Copy it, hand it in, forget it by morning
Homework done. Nothing learned.
Answer apps go from question to answer, then nothing. Edjo goes from question to steps, and then you solve it.
Edjo does the opposite. It shows the thinking behind the answer, so the next question is yours.
Three steps to really getting it
Three steps: ask a question, the pen works it out, then you get it.
Write it, type it, or take a photo
Watch the pen work it out, like a teacher at the board
Ask about any step you didn't get
Learn by seeing
A hand-drawn graph of y = x² − 1.
Move a slider and watch the graph change. Turn a 3D shape and slice it. Ideas stick when you can play with them.
Every subject, one board
Three examples in circles: y equals x squared, H2O, and E equals m c squared.
9 subjects, from maths to accounting
Answers in 12 languages
Diagrams the pen draws and labels
A study buddy who cheers you on
Real help, right at home.
A house with a parent and child beside a board that says x equals 4.
You don't need to remember algebra. Sit with your child and watch the pen explain it, one step at a time.
Why it works at home
No travel and no timetable
Your child sees the working, not just the answer

Questions parents ask
Does it do the homework for them?
It shows how to solve it. Learning it is still their job.
Does it replace school?
No. It's for the moments class can't reach: tonight, at home, at their own speed.
How much does it cost?
You can try it for free. Sign up and ask your first question.
Which subjects does it cover?
9 subjects, from maths, physics and chemistry to biology, statistics, English and accounting.
Can my child take a photo of their homework?
Yes. Write the question, type it, or take a photo of the page.
What if a step still doesn't make sense?
Ask about that step. The pen explains it again, as many times as needed.
Which languages does it speak?
Answers come in 12 languages, so you can learn in the one you think in.
Is their work saved?
Yes. Boards stay saved, so you can look back at what they worked on.
Where can we use it?
In the web app on any computer, and soon on iPhone and Android.
Do we need to sign up?
Yes, a free account keeps their boards saved and theirs.
